Dracula's Lunch - Music Video
For this project, I used a different style of projection mapping called live light painting. With a subject and a projector in a fixed position, you can create a mapping template simply using Photoshop to draw luma mattes for projection.

Once set, I connected my laptop to the projector and created a black Photoshop document with the same resolution and size as my projector. I then began to trace my objects using white and the light of the projector.
I created multiple scenes to create my "Dracula's Lunch" music video. For each camera angle, I had to reposition the projector and draw trace the new angles.

I used the black and white Photoshop images in After Effects as luma mattes to create the videos (from my own footage and stock footage) to be projected.
